A delight for any ginger-cake lover, our large, moist Stem Ginger Cake is a deliciously rich, warm ginger sponge containing stem ginger pieces, which add to the depth of the spicy flavour. Delicious hot with custard as a pudding or cold with cream as part of an afternoon tea, our loaf cake is great for sharing with the family.

Ingredients

Wheat flour (whea tflour, calcium, iron, niacin and thiamin), sugar, water, rapeseed oil: rapeseed, antifoaming agent E900; stem ginger (9%) (sugar, ginger), partially inverted sugar syrup, black treacle (cane molasses, invert sugar syrup), ground ginger (3%), glycerine, eggs, maize starch, raising agents: disodium diphosphate, sodium bicarbonate; salt, emulsifier blend (glucose syrup, E472b, E477, E471, milk powder), whey protein (milk), preservative: potassium sorbate; stabiliser: xanthan gum; natural flavour.
